Sophia
FEMALE | BORN MAY 2021 | LHASA APSO X CHIHUAHUA
LOCATED IN AUCKLAND
Sophia came to us after suffering from littermate syndrome. After a separation from her sibling her change has been incredible!
She is spending time learning that dogs are great, and being nice to them helps you get friends.
Sophia is little but she has a lot of energy, so she needs an active home. Her foster mum has even taken her on some slow runs and she has LOVED it. She also loves her toys.
What are we looking for in Sophias new home?
She needs an active, experienced home willing to treat her like a dog and continue with her training and socialisation. She really needs someone able to take on what we have started as it's really working. Ideally someone who understands dog behaviour.
She would do great in a home with another balanced dog, we really don't want her picking up any bad habits!
Sophia is fine with respectful children, ideally older. Not tested with cats, but we believe with training she will do great.
We know she is little and cute, but she is very much a dog, and we want someone who is able to keep working with this. Nobody likes naughty little dogs!
Can't adopt Sophia? You can still help.
Although we charge a small adoption fee, this doesn't generally cover the costs of us getting our dogs ready for adoption. Desexing, grooms, vet care, vaccinations, registration, training and variety of other things can go into these dogs. If you'd like to help either on a one off or regular basis we would be grateful for your donation.
