Rico has only been in our care a short time but watching him come out of his shell has been incredible!
His favourite things are his humans and zoomies!
Rico has been hanging out at the park and loves other dogs, so would do great in a home with a fur-brother or sister.
He is still learning to trust some humans, so needs someone to be patient with this. But once he loves you that's it!
Rico is crate trained, and loves his crate. It's his safe place.
Don't be fooled by his size, this boy has a lot of energy so is looking for an active home willing to continue working with him and helping him navigate the world. Someone who understands dog behaviour, or who can follow our guidance would be great.
And of course the usuals need to be provided - boundaries and structure!
Has not been tested with cats. Dog savvy kids over 8 only.
Can't adopt Rico? You can still help.
Although we charge a small adoption fee, this doesn't generally cover the costs of us getting our dogs ready for adoption. Desexing, grooms, vet care, vaccinations, registration, training and variety of other things can go into these dogs. If you'd like to help either on a one off or regular basis we would be grateful for your donation.
