FEMALE | BORN JULY 2021 | SMALL BREED
LOCATED IN AUCKLAND
Our darling Macy is up for adoption.
NB: PLEASE READ HER FULL PROFILE TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT
Macy was born with a brain injury and a degree of visual impairment. Despite both of these things she gets around absolutely fine and loves life! She is 7 months old. She is a small breed however has crazy long legs!
She is well socialized and adores other dogs and humans.
She has spent time going to The Dog Squad puppy pack learning all of things she needs to be a good doggy citizen.
What does Macy need in a new home?
Auckland based, so we can continue to provide support. This is not negotiable.
People dedicated to ensuring she continues with her socialization.
A home with another playful dog would be amazing. She LOVES playing with her foster brother.
People who don’t feel sorry for her, and treat her like a dog! She loves her walks, going to the park, her doggy friends, and water.
Young active people. She can be a bit of a trip hazard so no elderly people for this girl, as she would tend to cause harm! Due to this if there are children in the home they will need to be older (12+)
Patience. Her brain injury can cause her to go into “barky hyperactive states” and although her foster home knows how to manage this, she will need someone who is able to work through this with patience.
A sense of humor. This kid is HILARIOUS!
No cats. At all. This is NOT negotiable.
As you can see we are being pretty picky with Macy. It’s vital that we find the PERFECT home for her, as she’s not like every other dog!
