Darcy
FEMALE | BORN OCTOBER 2017 | WESTIE
LOCATED IN AUCKLAND
Darcy came into foster care as a timid girl who was curious and keen to figure out her new surroundings and make the most of her new opportunity. She has been nailing life in foster care and is now ready to find her forever home.
Darcy loves people, is great with kids and other dogs, often wanting to share a bed and snuggle up to her furry foster siblings. She may be OK with a cat but she has not been tested with cats.
Darcy is looking for a home that can continue with her training and building her confidence, she has thrived with the structure and boundaries she has had in foster care and has really blossomed so she needs someone that can continue to encourage and guide her at a calm and steady pace in the right direction. She is a quick learner and laps up any opportunity to learn something new.
She would do well in a home with another dog to learn from but this isn’t essential.
Overall, she is a lovely, sweet, smart girl that will make someone very happy!
Can't adopt Darcy? You can still help.
Although we charge a small adoption fee, this doesn't generally cover the costs of us getting our dogs ready for adoption. Desexing, grooms, vet care, vaccinations, registration, training and variety of other things can go into these dogs. If you'd like to help either on a one off or regular basis we would be grateful for your donation.
